Wellesley is a community built on neighbors looking out for one another. As we face critical decisions on development and budgets, we need leadership that prioritizes the town’s long-term health.

I believe in Smart Planning, Responsible Governance, and Genuine Engagement. My priority is to protect the unique character of Wellesley while ensuring our town remains a resilient, affordable, and welcoming home for everyone.

I am honored to have the support of dedicated residents and local leaders who share my commitment to a resilient and well-governed Wellesley.

I’m reaching out to respectfully ask for your support in the March 3 election for the Wellesley Select Board.
My family and I moved to Wellesley in 2003. We restored a modest home, raised our three children here, and built a small business focused on renovating older houses into energy-efficient, sustainable homes that respect neighborhood character. Wellesley is not just where we live; it’s where we’ve invested our lives.
I’ve had the privilege of serving three years on the Historic Commission; four years on the Planning Board (currently as Chair), founding and serving on the RIO Task Force; and 2 years as a Town Meeting Member. These roles have required listening carefully, balancing competing priorities, and making difficult decisions grounded in facts and long-term impact. To be clear, I will resign my position on the Planning Board if I am fortunate enough to be elected to the Select Board.
Our Town is at an important crossroads. You will not have to guess where I stand on an issue or read between the lines. I believe trust in local government is built through clarity, consistency, and follow-through. Below is a summary of where I stand on some important issues facing the Town:
Fiscal Responsibility & Affordability
We are considering hundreds of millions of dollars in capital projects in the coming years. Every major project must be evaluated through the lens of affordability and its long-term impact on property taxes. Even in an affluent community, rising tax bills affect seniors on fixed incomes and families who want to remain here. We must prioritize essential investments, carefully sequence projects, and ensure residents clearly understand the trade-offs.
Housing & the MassBay Site
Wellesley has met its legal obligations under the MBTA Communities Act and Chapter 40B. Now is the time to pause, assess, and engage in thoughtful, data-driven planning. As Chair of the Planning Board, I have requested funding for a comprehensive Master Plan to guide responsible decision-making. I do not support development on any portion of the 45-acre MassBay site, particularly the forested areas, because I do not believe it can be accomplished in a way that is in the best interests of our community.
Strong Public Schools
Wellesley’s public schools are central to why so many families choose to live here. We should continue striving to have the very best school system in the Commonwealth, while ensuring that investments in facilities and programming are thoughtful, transparent, and financially sustainable.
Sustainability & Long-Term Stewardship
Sustainability should remain a priority for Wellesley, approached thoughtfully and pragmatically. We can advance energy efficiency and climate goals in ways that are data-driven, cost-conscious, and consistent with neighborhood character. My work retrofitting older homes into energy-efficient properties has shown me that smart sustainability is achievable and fiscally responsible. Personally, I own multiple electric vehicles and built an all-electric home because I believe in practical solutions that reduce environmental impact while making long-term economic sense.
Above all, residents deserve clear, consistent leadership rooted in transparency and sound judgment. My campaign is built on a simple principle: listen carefully, evaluate the facts, and take steady, principled positions.
